Thank you for your interest in the 2026 SCVS Young Vascular Surgeons Program. This program is designed for early career vascular surgeons who have completed fellowships or an integrated vascular surgery residency and are in their first 5 years of practice (five years or less). The program will take place as part of the SCVS Annual Symposium, which will be held March 28 – April 1, 2026 at the Gaylord Pacific Hotel in Chula Vista, CA. The program is scheduled for Monday, March 30th from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The program includes a dinner symposium featuring talks from leaders in vascular surgery. Please follow the steps below to apply to be considered for the YVS Program.
Please note: Submission of your application does not automatically guarantee acceptance into the YVS Program. You will be notified of your participation by March 1, 2026 from the SCVS Administrative Offices regarding your application.
Open only to vascular surgeons in the workplace 0-5 years after completing a fellowship or residency. In 2026, the program is open to participants who have completed a fellowship and entered practice since spring 2021; no earlier. Admission to the scholarship program will be based on: completeness of application, review of the applicants CV, and date order received. Priority will be given to include as many different institutions/practices as possible, so it is likely there will not be 2 surgeons accepted from the same institution or practice. Applicants will be notified via email.
