Repair of Chronic Type B Dissection Complicated by Aneurysm Using Candy Plug Technique

OBJECTIVES: To demonstrate the use of the candy plug technique in the management of a chronic type B dissection complicated by aneurysm.
METHODS: Modification of a Cook Aortic Cuff to allow for amplatzer plug placement in a large false lumen.
RESULTS: Successful exclusion of the false lumen.
CONCLUSIONS: The candy plug technique can be used to treat chronic type B dissection complicated by aneurysm.
