ABSTRACT Fenestrated and branched endovascular aortic aneurysm repair has revolutionized the treatment of complex aortic aneurysms. These improvements, however, have come at the cost of increased radiation exposure and contrast agents use. The purpose of this video is to describe a fast, simple, and reliable imaging guiding technique that effectively facilitates and verifies the catheterization of target vessels, inner branches and contralateral gates using live intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). The use of IVUS results in reduced contrast and radiation doses to the patient and the operating team.
