This video demonstrates our technique of performing transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR). TCAR is a hybrid procedure for the treatment of carotid artery stenosis that combines the surgical principles of neuroprotection using flow reversal with the minimal systemic impact of an endovascular procedure. In this video, we describe our methods of performing TCAR from incision to skin closure, including technical tips and perioperative management.
