Fiber Optic RealShape (FORS) is a new endovascular guidance technology developed by Phillips which aims to improve visualization of wires and catheters while reducing radiation use. It relies on optical fibers and light to three-dimensionally reconstruct the shape and location of endovascular devices. Early use in complex fenestrated and branched endovascular aortic repair and peripheral arterial interventions has coincided with reductions in radiation use and task complexity.
